Additive manufacturing (3D printing) enables us to create tooling, fixturing, and end use parts more efficiently than ever before. First, we analyze your requirements and functional specifications using Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) methods. It may be possible to consolidate complicated assemblies of parts into fewer components. This can reduce production costs through materials savings and simplified assembly. The resulting design can then be printed in metal using our fleet of DMLS additive manufacturing printers and finished in house with our robotic CNC machining capabilities.

Our fleet of DMLS metal 3D printers are production-ready machines, meaning that after your project has been engineered, and design changes for potential part consolidation have been finalized, you can enjoy the full benefits metal additive manufacturing in serial production.

Prepare It.

There are many considerations that need to be addressed before geometry can be 3D printed in metal. Support structure strategies, build orientation, part consolidation for reduced weight, and more. Print It.

Our Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) printers use a high power-density laser to melt and fuse metallic powders together to create devices and parts. We offer dedicated Cobalt Chrome and Titanium printers to our customers for regulated Aerospace and Medical applications.


Make It.

Parts are removed from the build plate and finished to your specifications. Polishing, sand-blasting, threading, and even mirror-finishing of metal parts is possible in this phase of production.



Channels that have been engineered to cool tooling pieces at a specified rate for Injection mould making companies are now commonly Metal 3D printed. Thermal analysis is normally completed on injection mould tooling using advanced software, these simulations are used to create channels that have never before been able to be manufactured using traditional methods. Injection mould companies are now seeing decreased cycle times, increased part quality and increased tooling life.



Tooling and rapid prototyping has found a permeant place in the Automotive industry. Metal and Plastic 3D printing has allowed the automotive industry to iterate faster, having fully functional prototypes and in some cases full scale serial production. Metal AM has enabled the marine sector the ability to reverse engineer legacy parts that generally have no 3D CAD files and could potentially take 12 to 18 months to traditionally manufacture. The part focus in this industry are small, high value, complex parts, and in some applications, an assembly of parts coming together. The ability of AM to reduce fasteners and parts in general means fewer parts need to be validated, which can also decrease delivery times and increase manufacturing efficiencies.


The Energy sector has been able to use Metal AM as a complementary manufacturing process to traditional methods. New types of materials and as-built surfaces are being accepted into full scale production. This new type of manufacturing is giving companies the ability to be more responsive to part design iterations, and has even decreased delivery times in serial production parts. Possibly the biggest advantage that AM brings to this sector is part consolidation – the ability to reduce assemblies of multiple parts into as few as one.
